Coedmor is a charming traditional character Georgian house built
in 1831. All the windows directly overlook Aberaeron's picturesque
inner yachting harbour, and have lovely views of the town's famous
brightly painted houses and hills beyond.
Coedmor enjoys a quiet night time position, with
no through traffic yet is very convenient for shops, restaurant
and other amenities. Original architecture, including the staircase,
fireplaces, cupboards, doors and windows, give an aura of bygone
years.
The rooms are tastefully decorated with an interesting selection
of original artwork.
A delicious breakfast menu marked 'exceptional'
by the WTB inspector offers
a good choice of cereals and fruits, followed by a large or medium
sized
cooked Welsh Breakfast of thickly sliced bacon, local butcher's
sausages, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and local organic free range
eggs.
There are also vegetarian choices, and special
diets can be catered for.
Enjoy homemade preserves, and local honey served with fresh locally
baked
wholemeal toast with a choice of fresh coffee or tea (including
fruit,
green, earl grey, or Indian)
A display of colourful flowers decorate all the
windowsills and house frontage throughout the summer season.
The ground floor en-suite bedroom is very popular for those
with mobility problems, with level access to the harbour side,
sea front and Aberaeron town centre.
