A friendly Welsh welcome awaits you at Coedmor Bed and Breakfast
Aberaeron
Access Statement
Coedmor is a small Bed and Breakfast establishment
situated on the harbour side in Aberaeron. There is level
access all around the harbour and throughout the town, and is
ideal for people with limited mobility.
The one ground floor bedroom is very popular
with the elderly and less able. There is a 2 inch step into the
house and another similar step into the bedroom which is situated
close to the front door. The room is furnished with two
twin beds and has two comfortable armchairs, tea-making facilities,
TV, radio, CD player, alarm clock, central heating, small fridge,
hair dryer and toiletries.
There is an en-suite shower room with step-in
shower. Unfortunately the size and layout of the room makes it
unsuitable for wheelchair access, and can only be accessed by
people who can walk a few steps unaided. There is a moveable
shower seat and handrails within the shower.
The bedroom can be occupied at all times throughout
the day.
The breakfast room is situated on the ground floor opposite the
bedroom. There is a good choice of freshly cooked, flavoursome
breakfasts, using fresh local ingredients, and special diets
can be catered for. Please give advance notice for any
unusual requirements.
Street parking outside the house is free, and
can be reserved for initial arrival only, by prior notice. There
is one garage situated about 100 yds from the house which can
be reserved on a first come first served basis. There
is normally no problem with parking outside in the evening. Parking
is also free in the nearby car park and on the streets throughout
the town. The ground floor room is very popular throughout the
year, especially in June and September, so it is advisable to
book early. Bookings of less than three nights are not
normally taken.
